Process improvement\, budgeting\, and operational management were key focus areas. Successful leadership led to the promotion from CFO to CFO / COO. After getting both degrees in four years\, she left the education system to return a year later to complete a second major in Accounting and subsequently successfully completed the CPA exam. In 2010\, Linda returned to school to pursue her Masters of Business Degree while working full time. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Emporia State University in 2014 with a MBA degree.\n\nLinda is a former recipient of the CFO of the Year 2013 award presented by the Kansas City Business Journal. She subsequently served as CFO of the Year Judge in 2014 and 2015. Linda was recognized as Member of the Year of Financial Executives International (FEI) in May 2014 and subsequently joined their Board in July 2014 for which she is still serving.
