DESCRIPTION:Lessons in Leadership is for leaders eager to grow. Join fellow CXers on the 1st Tuesday of every month for a conversation about a relevant leadership topic to grow in knowledge\, learn from others\, and identify ways to stretch yourself. \n\n\n\nEach month our Lessons in Leadership facilitator\, Julie Klima\, Executive Director at Gift of Life\, will interview a guest woman in leadership who will share their experience and philosophies. This month's special guest is Tami Greenberg\, CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City.\n\n\n\nWhether you are a manager or project leader\, new entrant to the workforce with company leadership on the horizon\, an entrepreneur leading in a variety of ways\, or an executive\, you are welcome to join Lessons in Leadership. Real discussion leads to evolving mindsets and behaviors\, and the CX virtual environment is comfortable for open discussion and sharing.\n\n \n\n\n\nTami Greenberg has served as CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City since July 2015.  In this position she leads a team of 50+ employees\, an operational budget of $5.5 million\, and a campus that includes 3 Ronald McDonald Houses and 2 Ronald McDonald Family Rooms.  RMHC-KC serves 91 families with sick children each night and about 8\,000 families each year.  Previously Tami served in leadership roles with the National MS Society and United Way of Greater Kansas City\, and her earlier experience includes roles in the HIV/AIDS arena and in child welfare.\n\n \n\nTami has a BA in Psychology from Wheaton College in Illinois\, a Masters in Social Work from the University of Kansas\, and an Executive MBA from UMKC.  She is a 2007 graduate of the Centurions leadership development program\, and in 2013 she completed the Kansas City Tomorrow program of the Civic Council of Greater Kansas City.  \n\n\n\nShe and her wife\, Mary Chris Blickhan\, have been together for 27 years\, and they are the proud and grateful moms of two sons:  Ben (a junior at Creighton University) and Alex (a freshman at Saint Louis University).
