She returned to Kansas City to complete her certificate in dietetics from the University of Kansas Medical Center\, becoming a registered dietitian nutritionist in 2005. As a lifelong learner\, Lisa has continued her professional development with courses from the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy\, the Institute for Functional Medicine and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.\n\n\n\nDuring her time as a dietitian and health educator\, Lisa has gained diverse experiences in the fields of culinary education and recipe development\, clinical counseling\, higher education\, and community wellness. Lisa joined the AdventHealth Whole Health Institute in 2020 as their Director of Culinary Medicine.\n\n\n\nLisa offers nutrition consultations and classes\, both in-person and virtually\, where she tailors each nutrition plan to the individual client.
