DT | Cottey College: Equip, Engage, Empower - Conflict Management: Key Skills to Make the Most of Challenging Situations - 11:00 a.m.
Conflict is rarely easy. We have all experienced the stress that comes from having unresolved conflicts with our family, friends and co-workers. If a conflict is ignored or resolved badly the problem doesn’t go away – it will cause individuals to feel resentful and to avoid each other. The effects on the company are a loss of productivity, absenteeism and turnover; and the results on personal relationships are just as costly. This workshop will get to the heart of how women can effectively manage conflict by teaching participants practical skills to improve relationships and increase effectiveness.
Dr. Carol Clyde joined Cottey College in 2014 and serves as Director of the Serenbetz Institute for Women’s Leadership, Social Responsibility, and Global Awareness and an Assistant Professor of Leadership.
