DT | Google Fiber Presents How They Built It: Erika Klotz of Pop Bookings - 11:45 a.m.
Erika Klotz is the CEO and Co-Founder of a Kansas City technology startup, PopBookings. PopBookings is a mobile and web based application that automates the hiring process of temporary labor in the event staffing industry. A graduate from Saint Louis University, she began her entrepreneurial career straight out of college with her first venture, We Are Fine Line.
In its first year, Erika has grown PopBookings from idea on a napkin into a fast growing business. Now managing 5 full-time employees serving 45 staffing agencies as clients with over 27,000 users on the platform, she led PopBookings to successfully raising $300,000 in seed funding from local Kansas City angels. PopBookings also received $50,000 being crowned the "People's Choice" grant recipient from the LaunchKC global grants competition as part of Techweek Kansas City 2015.
