SUMMARY:DT | Commerce Bank Presents: A Better KC Series - Foundation Panel
DESCRIPTION:Kansas City continues to grow through great sources of innovation and creativity\, but what could we do to create a greater impact for the community? \n\n \n\nThe city has a rich base of philanthropic support that thinks every day about how they can help make a "Better KC". Jonathan Kemper of Commerce Bank and the W.T. Kemper Foundation will moderate a panel discussion between the directors of several local foundations that have and continue to invest significantly in Kansas City:\n\n	Wendy Guillies\, President and CEO of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation\n	Bill Hall\, President of the Hall Family Foundation\n	David Miles\, President of the Marion & Henry Bloch Family Foundation and the H&R Block Foundation \n\n \n\nThe panel will explore the issues these funders think are most pressing in the community today\, some of the solutions they're most excited about\, as well as reflect on past successes and failures and how they are applying those lessons in their current investments.\n\n \n\nWe'll then dig in to several of the issues identified by the panel throughout the Better KC speaker series stay tuned for future sessions!
