DESCRIPTION:**This program will start promptly at 11:30 am\n\n**Networking from 11:15 am - 11:30 am\n\n\n\nPresented by Workplace Healing LLC Co-Founders\, Mindy Corporon and Lisa Cooper\, the 90-minute H.O.P.E. Workshop offers education\, interactive activities\, and guidelines for managers and supervisors regarding the do's and don?ts for communicating and interacting with an employee returning to work after a life disruption.\n\n\n\nThe Workshop modules include:\n\nH - Heart-Based Healing\n\nO - Opportunities for Healing\n\nP - Personalized Purpose\n\nE - Employee/Employer Engagement\n\n\n\nIn this session\, attendees will:\n\n	Learn how to respond to an employee affected by a trauma/life disruption.\n	Learn how to re-engage this employee into the workplace.\n	Feel confident knowing that your business can prosper after a trauma affects a team member.\n\n \n\n\n\nSpeaker Bios:\n\n\n\nAn entrepreneur and former CEO of a successful wealth management firm\, Mindy Corporon began her career as an executive assistant. She was a single mother dealing with divorce and later overcame a life-threatening illness.\n\n\n\nAfter reaching the pinnacle of her professional career\, and in the middle of raising two teenage boys\, tragedy struck. Mindy?s father and oldest son were murdered by a white supremacist intent on killing Jews.\n\n\n\nThere was no way she would ever be the same. The community rallied around her. People from other religions held support vigils and she was asked to speak at a Mosque by a family holding services for their young son killed in a separate act of religious violence.\n\n\n\nMindy took action. She started the Faith Always Wins Foundation and a community-wide event\, SevenDays® . She also formed high school programming for productive Interfaith dialogue and now helps companies create healthy workplace environments so healing can occur after tragedy.\n\n\n\n\n\nAs a professional in marketing\, Lisa Cooper has always had a gift for communicating. She earned a reputation for driving creative solutions to clients? business problems leading national brands at advertising agencies and Fortune 500 companies across the Midwest. She built upon her corporate success by launching a consulting practice and sharing her expertise teaching graduate-level marketing classes.\n\n\n\nLittle did she know\, her mother?s death would produce her most rewarding professional accomplishment. Based on her personal experiences with grief and hope\, Lisa was motivated to help others ease the pain of loss and find a place for grieving hearts to heal.\n\n\n\nLisa wrote about her experiences and relationship with her mother in You Are My Voice: How Love?s Voice Never Dies \, an inspirational memoir. Lisa is a speaker and workshop facilitator creating communities of healing on topics such as How Love Never Dies \, Opening Hearts \, and Balancing the Head and Heart After Loss.\n\n\n\nLisa offers one-on-one consults to help people transition from grief to hope\, and assists companies in developing innovative approaches to healing trauma in the workplace.
