SUMMARY:DT | US Bank CEO Series with Lisa Sackuvich and ARJ
DESCRIPTION:Connect with Kansas City CEOs as they share their leadership journeys and walk away with insights from their business experience and the latest business trends.\n\n\nSpeaker Bio: \n\n\n\nLisa Sackuvich founded ARJ Infusion Services in 2000 with the idea that children and adults deserve a higher level of infusion care. Her belief is simple: Every patient deserves high-touch\, personalized care for treatment of their rare and chronic conditions.\n\nThis approach has enabled Sackuvich to grow the home-based infusion and specialty pharmacy company into a flourishing multimillion-dollar national organization without losing focus of her original vision to provide patients caring\, comprehensive\, and cost-conscious infusion therapy.\n\nSackuvich launched ARJ out of a small office in Overland Park\, Kan. While its headquarters remain in the Kansas City metropolitan area\, the organization has successfully expanded operations to include five major dispensing pharmacies across the Midwest with more than 100 employees.\n\nUnder Sackuvich's leadership\, ARJ achieved a 96 percent patient satisfaction score in 2017. Most recently the company was recognized as a "Top Women-Owned Business" by Kansas City Business Journal and named among its "Top 150 Largest Private Companies" list. She has been honored for her entrepreneurial leadership in such publications as Enterprising Women and Thinking Bigger Business Media.\n\nSackuvich's distinguished career in infusion nursing spans more than 35 years. She began her career as a nurse technician at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City\, Mo.\, before graduating with a B.S.N. from Avila University School of Nursing. In addition to obtaining Certified Registered Nurse of Infusion (CRNI)\, she maintains multiple nursing licenses throughout the Midwest.\n\nIn her 18 years as president and owner of ARJ\, Sackuvich has earned the respect of employees for her commitment to quality\, ability to solve problems\, and leadership that enables her clinical staff to achieve successful outcomes. Most impressive of all is her dedication to providing patients the very best care a skill she perfected as a nurse at the bedside.\n\nSackuvich is passionate about advocating for patients and the community through numerous philanthropic contributions. Since launching ARJ\, she has donated more than $4 million dollars to local and national nonprofits. One of her favorite ways to demonstrate support is through her volunteer work at local summer camps something she's been doing for the past 20 years.\n\nCurrently Sackuvich sits on the board of directors for Myasthenia Gravis Association\, where she has also served as past president. She has been a member of Infusion Nurses Society since 1990\, and is active in Hemophilia Federation of America\, Immunoglobulin National Society\, Midwest Hemophilia Association\, National Hemophilia Foundation\, and World Federation of Hemophilia.
