SUMMARY:IN-PERSON | The Time Crunch Series Part 1 | Time Poverty with Dr. Mary Corcoran and Jenna Myhre
DESCRIPTION:Do you find yourself overwhelmed with your schedule? Are you constantly feeling like you are "crunched for time"? This three-part series will focus on strategies and tactics to corral time\, and identify techniques that really work. You will learn research-based strategies that bring more balance into your work and home life and how to reduce stress with tips on getting to a "blue mind\," a nature-based strategy. \n\n\n\n"Time Poverty" describes the belief that we never have enough time for work demands\, family\, career pathing\, and personal growth. Our To-Do lists seem to get longer\, with our days shrinking. Technology and social media demands can seem overwhelming and distracting at the same time with FOMO (fear of missing out).\n\n\n\nIn this first program of the series\, come join Dr. Mary Corcoran and Jenna Myhre as they provide antidotes for our over-scheduling\, getting a handle on technology\, and share techniques to maximize the time you have. \n\n\n\nStay tuned for updates on parts two and three of this series--come to one\, come to all!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMary E. Corcoran\, Ph.D. is a psychologist and management consultant in private practice with Fortune 500 companies\, state and federal agencies\, and not for profits. She is also a writer and avid genealogist\, as well as a community volunteer in the underserved health arena.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJenna Dabler Myhre is a Midwest native with over a decade of experience in business-to-business sales within industrial sales. She has moved around the country multiple times for her employer\, Fastenal\, but intends on Kansas City being her final stop. She serves today as a leadership\, sales and professional development coach as well as oversees the cultural development and account retention for the Kansas City Region of Fastenal\, a seven billion dollar publicly traded company.
