The ability to authentically 'show up' as yourself both personally and professionally is the key to powerful relationships.\n\n\n\nDuring the Midwest Leadership Summit Dia Wall showcased strategies for how to assess who you believe is the best to align with\, she gave tips on how to make the best impression\, and she talked about how to ensure your relationships are productive and permanent.\n\n \n\nJoin us for the last 2022 Post-Summit Learnshop on August 31st\, where Dia will have a fireside chat with Central Exchange's Ann Hackett as they continue the discussion of "Where do I even start?" when it comes to connecting authentically with others.  This fun\, informal conversation will give you even more practical points to foster the relationships you need in any area of your life.\n\n\n\n \n\n\nDia Wall is an award-winning journalist\, wife and mom of two. She started her career as a host for the Dallas Cowboys before becoming an anchor and reporter at two news stations in Texas. After moving to Kansas City in 2015\, Dia became an Edward R. Murrow and Emmy award-winning anchor at KSHB 41.\n\n\n\nThe professional host\, storyteller\, writer and speaker is a passionate leader who believes in connecting women through shared experiences and authenticity.  She's passionate about telling stories that uplift and empower our community.\n\n\n\nDia released her first book\, The Unhappiest One\, in 2021\, sharing intimate stories and experiences that have shaped her life and journey toward happiness and fulfillment.\n\n\n\n\n\nAnn Hackett\, PhD\, serves as the head of Central Exchange.  Throughout her career\, Ann's passion for curiosity and learning has fueled her purpose. Her education focused on industrial/organizational psychology to better understand people\, organizations\, and relationships. Ann has 20+ years of business strategy\, organizational development\, and talent management experience\, holding executive positions at Accenture\, H&R Block\, DineEquity\, and as a senior advisor at the Kauffman Foundation. Additionally\, she launched her own consulting firm\, HumanRoot\, and is at the Henry W. Bloch School of Management\, where she serves as Chief Learning & Engagement Office\, Executive Coach\, and Assistant Professor of Professional Practice\, and leader of Central Exchange\, a group dedicated to the advancement and development of women.
