Suicide is a leading cause of death in the US. Suicide rates increased in nearly every state from 1999 through 2016. \n\nOur goal at Central Exchange is to reach out to those affected by suicide\, raise awareness and connect individuals with treatment services. It's also important to ensure that individuals\, friends and families have access to the resources they need to discuss suicide prevention. \n\nJoin the conversation at Central Exchange. The truth is\, we can all benefit from honest and open discussion about mental health and suicide. And\, one conversation can change a life. \n\n\n\nPanelists Include:\n\n\n	Stephen Gray\, Truman Medical Center-Behavioral Health - Stephen Gray is a licensed master social worker and team leader for Emergency Room Enhancement and Disease Management at Truman Medical Center-Behavioral Health (TMC-BH).  Stephen has worked as a community support specialist\, crisis and intake clinician\, and supervisor over the course of his 16 years at TMC-BH\, which includes 4 years of experience conducting suicide risk assessments in the Truman Medical Center Emergency Department.  Stephen is a co-chair of the Zero Suicide Implementation Committee at TMC-BH and facilitates the orientation training on suicide awareness for new hires.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Missouri-Columbia and his Master of Social Work at University of Missouri-Kansas City.\n	Robin Helget\, KC Resolve - Robin Helget is a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Kansas and Missouri and a Certified Play Therapist (CPT).  She graduated from the University of Kansas\, with a specialized focus in child and family therapy\, and Certificate of Play Therapy from Mid-America Nazarene University.  She is currently fulfilling the requirements to become a Licensed Specialized Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) in the state of Kansas and Missouri.
