35 for 35| Children's Mercy -- Wednesday Night Live - 5:45 p.m.

Join us to do an art project with the kids of Children’s Mercy hospital.  We’ll be working with up to 25 children between the ages of 4 - 18.  We’ll receive an overview/training from the hospital prior to starting the event.

Details:

• Volunteers need to be free of contagious illness (coughing, sneezing, vomiting, diarrhea, etc.
• You will be asked to sign their standard HIPAA Privacy Compliance form that ensures the privacy of the young patients.
• Volunteers should not wear jeans, open toed shoes, scrubs or shorts
• Pictures of patients cannot be taken unless it is in instant photo and the picture is given to the patient to take with them.
• Please plan to allow for an extra 15 minutes for your arrival.  You will also need photo identification (Driver’s License or Government I.D.) for entrance into the hospital.
• PARKING: Please park in the Visitor Garage, and then proceed to the main entrance where two security guards are sitting. Proceed through check-in with your ID and Kelly will escort you to the Community Room.  The yellow and red parking levels are often full so please proceed down a couple levels to the PURPLE or TURQUOISE levels where there are more open spaces.

Children’s Mercy is a regional pediatric medical center providing comprehensive and specialized care to children of western Missouri and eastern Kansas.
