Presentation will consist of overview of R.U.B.I.E.S., Inc. organization, programs and volunteer opportunities.
Chantell M. Garrett is the founder of R.U.B.I.E.S., Inc. (Realizing yoUr Best In Every Situation), a nonprofit organization with the mission to educate, equip and empower underserved girls with the knowledge and skills to succeed in college, career, and community. R.U.B.I.E.S., Inc. provides life-enriching programs, services and scholarships through collaborative partnerships, innovative approaches and philanthropic endeavors. Over the course of 5 years the organization has supported over 500 girls that aspire to be the first in their families to attend and graduate college through a variety of programs, services, conferences and collaborative partnerships. In addition the organization has supported over 4,000 Kansas City families during the Christmas holiday by provided toys and warmth items for local youth.
A resident of Kansas City, MO, Ms. Garrett enjoys traveling, shopping, public speaking, spending time with family and friends and helping others.
