CXS| McLovin' Being a Lady Boss: KC's Female McDonald's Owner/Operators Share Leadership Insights
McDonald’s is one of the most iconic and globally recognizable brands in the world.. When most people think of McDonald’s, it’s golden arches, Big Macs, and All Day Breakfast – not necessarily the local faces that power the restaurants at the community level.
Who are the individuals running your neighborhood McDonald’s? In many cases, it’s a woman. In the McDonald’s Heart of America Co-Op, which is comprised of approximately 150 McDonald’s restaurants spread throughout eastern Kansas and northwest Missouri, approximately one-third of restaurants are owned and operated by women. What’s more, the average sales of female-owned McDonald’s are more than $110,000 higher per restaurant than within the entire Franchisee population in Kansas City .
On Wednesday, December 14, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from a panel of four local women entrepreneurs who collectively own and operate 20 McDonald’s restaurants around the greater Kansas City region. Each day, these female business leaders balance the duties of personal life with managing multiple successful restaurants that must adhere to McDonald’s standards of excellence. The panel will share their career histories, experience as and insights for female small business owners, what it’s like to be part of a global brand and responsive to consumer feedback, and accept questions from audience members during a Q&A session.
McDonald’s All Day Breakfast menu items and coffee will be provided to attendees.
