CXS | Setting Your Fees As A Solo Professional - Noon
“In the U.S., independent workers are expected to make up 50 percent of the workforce by 2020, up from 30 percent in 2006.” This is according to data from the Freelancers Union and the Government Accountability Office.
Are you self-employed or considering stepping out as a solo professional? What do you need to know to prepare yourself for being self-employed?
Learn how to answer your “What should I charge so I can pay myself the salary I need?” question at this program. You’ll learn what it really takes to make a living working for yourself. Get the confidence to set your fees where they need to be and not feel like you’re overcharging.
What you learn can instill confidence that your business is heading toward success. Or it can save you from a huge mistake if the numbers just don’t add up.
This is Barbara’s Zeigler's 2nd presentation of “What Should I Charge?” for the CX. She’s a business consultant & coach and founded Business Solutions Resource, Inc in 1996. She added coaching in 2000 and Set & Get Your Coaching Fees late in 2011. One of the results clients get is a real understanding of their business numbers.
Barbara has given back to the community in many ways over the years, including Business Counselor for FastTrac New Venture Program at Kauffman Foundation, First Step FastTrac Program for United Way, First Step Fund Mentor Program and the SBDC’s (Small Business Development Centers) for KU and the Enterprise Center of Jo Co. She has been a speaker and given workshops for many other local groups, including NAWBO (National Association of Women Business, SHBC (Small & Home Business Connection), ICA (Independent Computer Consultant Association), ABWA, Small Business Expo’s in Olathe, and the ICF Heartland Coaches Association
