DT | BrainWiser Series: "I Changed My Mind"
Actually, you change your mind (brain) every day, especially when you do such things as talk to people, try new things, or solve a problem. Experience remodels your brain and at the same time, your brain affects your experiences. This is called “plasticity.” From birth to age five, there’s an explosion of the “magic trees of the mind.” And this process goes on our entire lives.
Everyone can intentionally use this amazing power of the brain to grow and change, even those who have a “mature” brain, and in fact, we do our best thinking in middle age through the brain’s amazing plasticity! The brain is amazingly plastic, from birth to old age, and the effects of many negative conditions may be improved.
In one sentence: Your brain changes every minute of your life! Hear about ways to harness the amazing power of neuroplasticity!
