Richard Haldeman is President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) at Southwestern Regional Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Prior to joining CTCA, Mr. Haldeman spent 13 years in the oncology field with a focus on building large, complex cancer programs. He most recently served as Senior Administrator of Oncology Services and Chief Financial Officer for the National Cancer Institute-designated Kimmel Cancer Center (KCC) at Thomas Jefferson University and Hospitals in Philadelphia.
During his time at KCC, Mr. Haldeman was instrumental in growing programs for the hospital’s clinical research division as well as dramatically expanding their medical oncology team. He also helped propel the hospital to a number 17 ranking on the U.S. News and World Report Best Hospitals list.
Mr. Haldeman has served as an Assistant Director of Finance at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey in New Brunswick as well as an Auditor and Grant Officer at Deloitte and Touche LLP and Rutgers University, respectively.
Mr. Haldeman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Richard Stockton College in Pomona, New Jersey. He also received a Master of Business Administration in management from Fordham University in New York and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1999.
