DT | Google Fiber's How they Built it Presents: Paolini Garment Company with Founder Tom Paolini
Paolini Garment Company is a luxury custom clothier, with tailored clothing roots dating back to the 1930s–the heyday of New York’s Garment District. The idea of starting a clothing business began late 2008 after having a successful career in technology sales. With Tom having two prior generations in the family having worked in the clothing business, and a father who was a longtime small business owner, the allure of creating his own business from scratch was too immense to ignore.
Join us as we talk with Tom Paolini, to learn about the thought and detail that goes into a menswear business focused on custom designed and made suits, sport-coats, trousers, shirts, formal wear and various men's finery and furnishings.
After completing the world-renowned Kauffman FastTrac Entrepreneurship Program, Tom took the leap in 2009 and started the Men's Style League, which would eventually become Paolini Garment Company. With support from friends in the Kansas City community, his business began to flourish.
