Creating Peace in Your Space
Are you are tired of living in a home that makes you feel stressed instead of refreshed? Our lives have stages and what we keep in our homes should reflect and support our current place in life. We’ll explore the mindset shifts that will allow you to let go of items that no longer serve you and you’ll gain some great organizing tips to keep your house in order. January is National Get Organized Month—the perfect time to clear clutter from your life once and for all. Come be inspired to open your space, your mind, and your heart to live your most joyful, productive and generous life. Home Organizing Coach Joanie Nicholas takes a holistic approach to helping Kansas Citians transform their cluttered homes into peaceful sanctuaries by integrating physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects into her work. For over 20 years she has guided her clients in creating lasting, positive changes to their space through her business, All Things Organized. Learn more about her at www.OrganizeWithJoanie.com.
Whether you need to host a fund-raising gala or woo that special hire, the ability to warmly welcome others into your space with aplomb is critical to business and personal success. Learn how to be that special friend or colleague who exudes hospitality in the home, at a business luncheon, or a networking event. This special interest group replaces and expands the mission of Total Yard Gardeners to help all CX members develop their personal hospitality strengths and styles. Guest speakers and panels will encourage CX members to embrace the role of host, both at home and at business and social events. The special interest group will tackle worries like "My house isn't nice enough," or "I'm not a good cook," or "I could never pull that off." We'll practice what we preach too, by continuing the tradition of Summer Garden Parties as Summer Hospitality Parties for CX members. Come expand your hospitality horizons.
