DT | Home & Garden Hospitality Special Interest Group

Whether you need to host a fund-raising gala or woo that special hire, the ability to warmly welcome others into your space is critical to business and personal success. CX Member Rita-Marie Reid will offer personal reflections and practical tips to be that friend or colleague who exudes hospitality in the home, at a business luncheon, or at a networking event. She'll discuss common worries that all hosts feel and suggest how to open up to the fun and friendships that result from being a more welcoming person.  Come enjoy a casual conversation on how to overcome hosting anxieties.
 
The Home & Garden Hospitality special interest group expands the mission of Total Yard Gardeners to help all CX members develop their personal hospitality strengths and styles. Please join us the third Thursday of alternate months at CX downtown, or at future home parties.
 
Rita-Marie Reid teaches Business Law at the Bloch School of Management at UMKC. She has been a CX member since 2008.  She has hosted large and small gathering in both small and large houses.  She is NOT a good cook, but has overcome that hospitality hurdle.

This group meets the Third Thursday of January, March, May, July, September & November.
