Speaker Bios:

Jeffrey Snyder currently serves as the External Investment Advisory Specialist for the Texas Mountain Region. He works with over 800 Financial Advisors in North Texas, Kansas City and St. Louis in all aspects of their Merrill Lynch ONE business. He specializes in areas such as portfolio construction, the Chief Investment Office, asset allocation and behavioral coaching.
Jeff started in the industry at the age of 22 as a Stock Broker on Wall Street where he obtained his Series 7 and 63 licenses. He then transferred to Merrill Lynch and has been with the firm for a total of 12 years.
Jeff is married and has 3 children. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching, volunteering in the community and exercising. He is in avid member of the Red Cross, American Cancer Society and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

Lisa is a Vice President and Wealth Management Advisor at Merrill Lynch. Lisa brings more than 28 years of investment and financial services experience. After holding the position of investments trader for a large bank trust department, she became a financial advisor in 1995. She joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2006. As a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® professional, Lisa possesses the level of detail needed to serve high-net-worth clients in advanced wealth management topics such as portfolio management, retirement planning, risk management, tax planning, charitable and estate planning services, planning for closely held business owners, behavioral finance, and planning for executives.
Lisa’s approach to wealth management is consultative and customized to the client’s financial needs. Lisa expresses her professional knowledge to guide which wealth management methods should be applied at each stage of a client's life cycle. Lisa’s access to the investment insights and tremendous resources of Merrill Lynch, and banking convenience of Bank of America, helps address the various aspects of clients’ financial lives. High-net-worth individuals have unique needs that can’t be properly addressed by an advisor with a basic financial planning background. As a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® professional, Lisa identifies and analyzes challenges high-net-worth individuals face, developing specific strategies that are designed to monetize and preserve assets, minimize taxes, maximize growth, and transfer wealth for affluent individuals, their families, and their businesses. Lisa strives to deliver proactive and responsive service while helping clients pursue their goals.
Lisa holds the Series 6, 7, 63, 65, and 66 FINRA registrations, and is a registered insurance agent. Lisa holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® designation (CPWA®), administered by the Investments & Wealth Institute™ (The Institute) and taught in conjunction with the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Lisa also holds the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM designation. Lisa is a 1989 graduate of Iowa State University with a BBA in finance. Lisa does not provide tax advice in her role at Merrill Lynch.
In addition to the time she spends with clients, Lisa spends her time with her family. Lisa also volunteers for her church, and helps with her children’s school and extracurricular activities. She lives in Kansas City with her husband and four children.

Kara J. Miller is a Vice President and Relationship Manager for the Heartland market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In this capacity, her responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Kara’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex.
Bringing 18 years of experience, Kara joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2011. She has also served as Financial Center Manager and Small Business Banker. She began her banking career at HSBC where she was most recently a Sales Manager in Kansas City. Throughout her banking career, Kara has served mid-sized companies throughout the Kansas City area to support their commercial banking needs.
To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities she serves, Kara volunteers with several not-for-profit organizations focused on financial education and youth development, most recently with Junior Achievement and Big Brothers Big Sisters. She also serves as a mentor for teammates across Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a member and leader in the IGEN Employee Network and a Better Money Habits Champion. In addition, she is also a member of Central Exchange, Women’s Executive Network and Kansas City Manufacturer’s Network.
Originally from Bolivar, MO, Kara graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Personal Financial Management from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She resides in Lees Summit, MO.
