DT | "Positive Politics: Get Noticed and Get Ahead While Being True to Yourself" - 11:45 a.m.

This program will help you understand and practice Politicking approaches. We will define “positive politics” and it’s meaning and impact in the workplace today. In the session, we will focus on building a powerful personal leadership brand, which includes approaches to building influence, credibility, and trust. We will also review approaches to Get Noticed and to Get Ahead that can be employed while staying true to your personal values.

Todd Averett is the President of Leading People Partners, LLC, which focuses on Leadership, Strategy, Change, and Talent.  Prior to launching his company, he was the Vice President for Global Human Resources at Payless ShoeSource, Todd has a Master’s Degree in Organizational Behavior from Brigham Young University.  Todd has conducted numerous workshops for clients and has written articles for a variety of publications and has been featured on the TK business radio show on WIBW radio. He is the co-host of the podcast “Leading the People Side of Business”.
