Robert is a landscape architect and urban planner with 20 years’ experience with Gould Evans in Kansas City. Gould Evans is a nationally recognized architectural design firm specializing in urban design and planning, community centers, city and university planning, school campus design and church facilities. Robert’s planning research has exposed that street trees are a key component to a great neighborhood. They enhance the social, economic, ecological and human health vitality of a place. This presentation explains these benefits and shares a candid observation of the successes and failures regarding the quality of the public realm as it relates to street trees.
