DT | Windows and Doors: The Rabbit Hole - 11:45 a.m.

Windows and Doors will introduce The Rabbit Hole, a visionary center for the children’s book chartered to create new and extraordinary experiences around literature that will change lives and revitalize the culture of reading for generations to come.

Debbie began her professional life working in children’s bookstores in NYC. In 1988 she moved to Kansas City and opened the Reading Reptile and was soon joined by Pete Cowdin. After 27 years, 5 kids, many successes and failures, and many friends,  she and her husband chose to go down the Rabbit Hole. Literally. They found an entire community of people who had unknowingly been training and preparing themselves to work together and create something which has never existed. Something beautiful and magical. The Rabbit Hole.

The Rabbit Hole creative team will demonstrate the importance of trust, work ethic and the value of taking risks.
