Event Description:
This community was created to serve women in the sales profession, in all different industries and experience levels. 
 
When we planned the first Women in Sales event, we thought we’d be lucky to get 15-20 women in the room. We had over 80 women register for the event. And had 60 register for the second. This told us that women in the sales profession in Kansas City are looking for a place to connect with and learn from one another.
 
The idea came from a simple cup of coffee with our founder, Ryann Dowdy, and our biggest supporter that gave us the launch pad for this community, Mike Poledna. Mike is the President of SalesLab, a sales consulting company and also the founder of KCSaaS, a community for SaaS professionals to connect, learn and grow from one another. Ryann’s passion of helping women and love of the sales profession paired with Mike’s knowledge of building communities bring us to this point!
 
We’re thrilled to create a community that supports women, helps women learn from one another, and hopefully, encourages women to join us in the ranks of sales professionals.

This new special interest group, Women in Sales, meets at 5:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month, alternating between South and Downtown.
