Alex Colley is the Co-Founder of dameSpeak, a digital marketing agency pioneering AI-enhanced marketing strategies for clients nationwide. With over 20 years of expertise in marketing and creative services, Alex brings a passionate approach to integrating artificial intelligence into business solutions that drive growth and efficiency.
Originally from Pensacola, Florida, Alex moved to Kansas City in 2013 where she began exploring how AI could transform traditional marketing approaches. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Advertising from the University of Tampa (where she was an All-American swimmer) and an MBA from the University of West Florida—education she now leverages to bridge the gap between human creativity and AI capabilities.
Alex is an active member and moderator of the AI Roundtable/AI Collective KC, serves on the KC2026 AI Committee, and previously held the role of Social Media Chair for the Kansas City AI group. Drawing on her work leading dameSpeak, she brings a practical, real-world perspective to using generative AI responsibly.
When she isn’t developing an AI-optimized marketing strategy, Alex is a dedicated foster mom for the MOKAN Border Collie Rescue & Heart of Humanity Humane Society, applying the same pattern-recognition skills she values in AI to match rescue dogs with their perfect homes. She's a self-proclaimed crazy dog lady, fun aunt, and avid marathoner who's always ready for the next challenge.
