Through practical sessions, you’ll learn to identify your figure type, assess your current wardrobe, and make informed styling and shopping decisions. By the end of the series, you'll have tools to guide you through curating a wardrobe that elevates your confidence and success in dressing well for the workplace, work-related social situations, and personal life, too.

Knowing and understanding your body type and figure needs are essential for selecting and styling outfits that enhance your shape and project confidence and professionalism. This program explores differences in body types, how measurements determine the appropriate size and fit, flattering design lines, and clothing brands that complement your figure. Additionally, we’ll discuss proper fit for professional attire to ensure a polished and sophisticated presentation, along with the importance of selecting the right foundation garments to create a seamless and refined look.

Nancy Petersen is a couturière/professional dressmaker specializing in ladies custom design and alterations in bridal, special occasion, career, and tailored apparel. She is also a freelance designer/product developer, engineer, and manufacturing consultant to the apparel industry.
