IN-PERSON | The Paradox Toolkit: Navigating Leadership in a World of Contradictions

IN-PERSON | The Paradox Toolkit: Navigating Leadership in a World of Contradictions

I want to lead with empathy and warmth, yet still drive my team to hit aggressive targets.
I need to innovate for the future, but I’m constantly pressured to deliver results today.
I’m expected to achieve more with fewer resources and a smaller team.

Sound familiar? If so, you’re not alone. Many leaders are grappling with these kinds of paradoxes.

In today’s fast-paced world, leadership is less about finding the "right" answers and more about managing the tensions between seemingly opposing forces like these. The Paradox Toolkit for Leaders equips you with practical tools to navigate these complexities and lead with confidence.

In this interactive program, you’ll learn to identify paradoxes, shift your mindset, and apply a four-step process to move beyond “either/or” thinking. The tools you’ll gain can be used for personal reflection or to help a team move forward toward a shared goal. Through real-life examples and collaborative exercises, you’ll learn to break through stagnation and lead with clarity in even the most complex circumstances and toughest leadership dilemmas.

She is a trusted coach and advisor to individuals and organizations across multiple industries and has also provided non-profit board leadership. She was recognized as one of Ingram’s Magazine’s 40 Under Forty, a group of leaders that represent the future of business in Kansas City.

When she’s not working, you can find her volunteering in the community, in her garage working on a DIY project, or having impromptu dance parties in the living room with her husband, 3-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter.
