Politics of Fashion: An American Daughters Panel
Join America Daughters on International Women’s Day for the highly anticipated second panel event, Politics of Fashion.
Central Exchange is partnering with American Daughters to put on this fantasic evening! Hear from a diverse panel, including a stylist, fashion designer, and other brilliant ladies with unique perspectives on fashion, to answer your burning questions and discuss the effect fashion has on our everyday lives as well as the intersection of fashion with the issues of today (fast fashion, accessibility, LGBTQ+, racism, sexual violence, and more).
The floor will then be opened up to attendees (that’s you!) to share their stories and learn from each other.
The ticket price includes light food and drink. There will also be a reception after the event to give everyone the opportunity to meet like-minded women (and men!) in Kansas City!
All ticket sales will go toward the American Daughters Summer Academy, a program aimed at supporting high school-aged women as they develop a vision for their future.
**Central Exchange members will receive $5.00 off of the ticket price. We hope to see you there! Parking is not included for this event**
