VIRTUAL | DEIB with Dr. Rebecca Baumgartner | Meeting the Whole Person at Work: Discover Paths to Take Action in a Trauma-Informed Workplace

VIRTUAL | DEIB with Dr. Rebecca Baumgartner | Meeting the Whole Person at Work: Discover Paths to Take Action in a Trauma-Informed Workplace

When we feel "belongingness," we experience not only connection and acceptance, but we feel that we are part of something bigger than ourselves. The DEIB: It Begins With Us series provides concepts of belonging and othering, focusing on how we can foster more diverse and inclusive spaces for ourselves, our workplaces, and our communities.

At each session, Dr. Rebecca Baumgartner will present on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB), alternating fireside chats with interactive workshops. Although we encourage you to come each session, you can start at any time.

Join us every-other month to...

  • Begin the internal work of belonging and self-acceptance

  • Learn and implement inclusive leadership skills at home and at work

  • Identify the impacts of socialization on stereotypes and bias and ways to mitigate these

JULY 14TH SESSION: Meeting the Whole Person at Work: Discover Paths to Take Action in a Trauma-Informed Workplace

Employers have gaping holes in culture and conversation surrounding the trauma employees carry into the workplace each day. In the past year, Caroline Markel Hammond has created trauma-informed workplace solutions to over 55,000 people across the United States. Join Caroline, CEO and Founder of Safe In Harm’s Way, as she brings her trauma-informed coaching practice to Central Exchange.

We Will Be Discussing:
•             The post-Covid statistics surrounding trauma.
•             How ACE scores further impact people and their viewpoint.
•             How employers can foster better conversations to address the totality of experiences employees bring to work.

Action Plans and Follow-up:
•             Each participant will receive an interactive guidebook for further information.
•             Each participant will receive a free 15-minute coaching session with Caroline.
