And while we would surely all love to be able to avoid, overcome and conquer that stress, that is, of course, easier said than done. But there are things we can and should be doing to manage the stress in order to protect our physical and mental wellbeing, both now and for the future.

Join us for this informative virtual conversation with primary care physician Rachel Seymour, MD, MSc, about how stress affects long-term health and, most importantly, what we can do about it. Dr. Seymour will discuss general tips for stress management, including an interactive exercise, and there will be time for Q&A.

Rachel Seymour, MD, MSc, is an experienced, Board-certified family medicine physician with AdventHealth Medical Group Primary Care at Prairie Village. She provides care for people of all ages with all health needs, including preventive wellness, chronic disease management, contraceptive care, in-office procedures, mental health, acute care and more. Her goal is to be the first call for all her patients’ health needs, developing a long-term partnership to help them achieve their health and wellness goals.

After working as a primary care physician in Leavenworth for six years, Dr. Seymour joined AdventHealth in 2023. She has served in a number of clinical leadership roles throughout her career, including working as adjunct faculty for the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She earned her medical doctorate from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and her master of medical science in medical anthropology from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. Dr. Seymour welcomes new patients of all ages, including newborns, at Primary Care at Prairie Village, located at 75^th St. & Mission Rd.
