Evy Poumpouras embodies resilience and tactical mastery.

A former Secret Service special agent, Evy spent over 12 years protecting some of the world’s most high-profile figures, including President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, President George W. Bush, President Bill Clinton, and President George H.W. Bush.

She served on the elite Presidential Protective Division, conducted complex criminal investigations, worked undercover, and was an interrogator for the agency’s elite polygraph unit—specializing in lie detection, human behavior, and cognitive influence. As a first responder during the 9/11 attacks, she was honored with the United States Secret Service Valor Award.

Today, Evy is a multimedia journalist and national security expert, regularly appearing on TODAY, NBC, MSNBC, Good Morning America, and more. She is the author of the bestselling book Becoming Bulletproof, a TEDx speaker, and an adjunct professor at The City University of New York. A sought-after keynote speaker, she consults for Fortune 500 companies, sharing insights on leadership, resilience, and effective communication.

Ann Hackett, PhD, helps others reach their full potential. 
 
With over 25 years of diverse corporate leadership, Ann embodies a profound commitment to curiosity and learning, shaping her multifaceted career.
 
With a background in industrial/organizational psychology, Ann has held executive roles at Accenture, H&R Block, Dine Brands Global, and is a Senior Advisor at the Kauffman Foundation. She is the Founder of HumanRoot, her consulting firm, specializing in business strategy, organizational development, and talent management.
 
Currently serving as Chief Learning Officer, Executive Coach, and Assistant Professor at the Henry W. Bloch School of Management, University of Missouri – Kansas City, Ann leads with a passion for education and alignment of values, talents, and career trajectories. Simultaneously, she heads Central Exchange, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering women.
 
Ann's extensive experience spans learning and organizational development, talent management, and higher education, fostering growth and potential in individuals and organizations alike. Holding a Ph.D. and master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology from Kansas State University, Ann continues to be a catalyst for professional development and empowerment.
