Speaker Bios
Lisa Markley, MS, RDN, is an integrative dietitian and seasoned culinary nutrition expert with nearly two decades of experience working towards improving the health of individuals and the community. Lisa offers nutrition consultations and classes, where she passionately educates and empowers clients and class participants to harness the healing power of food and healthful lifestyle changes.
Elaine Demetroulis, MD, is an interventional cardiologist who is Board-certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. She is an expert in complex Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) using a radial approach. She earned her medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine and completed a residency in internal medicine and fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
