VIRTUAL PROGRAM | Wealth, Wellness, & Wisdom Series: Caring for an Aging Loved One
Aspyre Wealth | Wealth, Wellness, & Wisdom Series Presents Caring for an Aging Loved One: Curiosity Can Be Your Superpower
When faced with caring for an aging loved one, it can feel overwhelming. You know you want to help, but you do not know what to say and where to start. To get started, you need to assess your strengths, as well as your limitations. Then you can devise a plan so you can get help when you need it. The problem is that you are busy with family, work, and life. There is simply not enough time most days, which makes you feel out of control.
In this session, I will help you build a framework, a blueprint to follow. Plus I will share how I discovered curiosity is my superpower and teach you how to be more curious, too. I see you. I understand the challenges of juggling it all because seven years ago I left my CEO job when my mom started having medical issues. My goal with this session is to help you get organized, anticipate roadblocks ahead, and navigate potential risks, so you can care for your loved one, and also take care of you.
Join us to...
- Assess your situation: Know your strengths & weaknesses, so you can start to outline a plan. Put your curiosity to work.
- Clarify the most important things in your loved one's life, as well as yours: family, health, home, career, relationships, and fun.
- Balance the competing priorities so you know the decisions you are making are the right ones for your situation. Learn how to create Decision-Free Zones. (After you get home) Now you have a plan and you can start getting things done, so you can focus on the things and people that matter most.
