VIRTUAL PROGRAM | Wealth, Wellness, & Wisdom Series: Teaching Kids About Money When it is Invisible
When we were kids, we either had cash in our pockets or we did not and that determined if we could buy something. When we got older, we had a physical checkbook to manage so that we could see our balances and where our money went. In today's world, financial concepts are even more difficult to teach to children because money has become almost completely intangible. They see us swiping cards and pushing buttons on our phones and boxes of stuff magically appear on our doorstep. How do we teach kids about money when it is invisible? How can we start instilling positive money memories and values in our children now?
Join us to learn...
- When to start talking to your kids about money - it is sooner than you think!
- Creating teachable moments to make money lessons more tangible.
- Letting kids fail and learn while the stakes are lower.
