At Central Exchange, we empower women and cultivate leaders. We do this by providing our member with powerful programming from influential leaders and experts. One of our program focuses is promoting wellbeing — because in order to lead well, we need to be well.

Mental health conditions affect millions of Americans. Approximately 1 in 5 adults in the U.S.—43.8 million, or 18.5%—experiences mental illness in a given year. This panel will address how to recognize signs of mental illness, seek help and resources.

Our goal at Central Exchange is to reach out to those affected by mental health, raise awareness and connect individuals with treatment services. It's also important to ensure that individuals, friends, and families have access to the resources they need to discuss mental health.

Join the conversation at Central Exchange. The truth is, we can all benefit from an honest and open discussion about mental health. And, one conversation can change a life.

 Panelist Include:

  • Judi Schwartz, LCPC, LPC, is the Corporate Director of Benefit Determination and Appeals at New Directions Behavioral Health in Kansas City, MO. Judi is an accomplished behavioral health professional with over 25 years of experience in management, supervision, treatment delivery, training and quality management. She is a licensed psychotherapist who has provided counseling with active duty military and their family members, as well as in private practice. Judi received her B.S. in Psychology and her M.S. in Counseling from Emporia State University. She lives in Shawnee with her husband and two overnourished bull mastiffs.
  • Kreasha Williams, Masters in Christian Counseling and Psychology, is currently employed as a Special Projects Coordinator at Truman Medical Center Behavioral Health (TMCBH). Working closely with management, she engages in program development as well as networking with community providers for Recovery Health Services. In her current role, Mrs. Williams serves as a liaison to provide the necessary service(s) from TMCBH to help to strengthen organizational/community partnerships. At present, Mrs. Williams has worked at Truman Medical Center Behavioral Health for 19 ½ years.  She started as a case manager and transitioned into the role of a supervisor for 13 years. This particular journey created an opportunity for the current position as Special Projects Coordinator. Mrs. Williams has been presented with and gleaned from a myriad of individuals whose career paths have created personal and career growth, as well as leadership development. Her passion for the Co-Occurring population, along with experiences gained over the years fuels her ability to motivate, advocate and educate. Mrs. Williams is eternally grateful and humbled by every invitation, task and opportunity to empower others. Her integrity speaks volumes and she remains committed to give nothing less than her best.
  • Dr. Sullivant completed undergraduate training at Creighton University and medical school at the University of Kansas, where she also completed a residency in adult psychiatry and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry.  Since 2010 she has been on staff at Children's Mercy Kansas City. She is co-leader of the Self-directed Violence group at CMH, leading suicide prevention efforts at the hospital.
