Join Royals broadcaster, Joel Goldberg, as he delivers a powerful message focusing on building and sustaining a championship culture through strong relationships. Participants will learn techniques to help them better connect with anyone through more effective networking and strategies to build and sustain a championship culture.
Speaker Bio:
Joel Goldberg has spent nearly 25 years as a television broadcaster, covering all sports for local news departments in Rhinelander, WI, Madison, WI and St. Louis, plus announcing hockey and baseball for regional networks in St. Louis and Kansas City. He’s traveled with championship teams, and has broadcasts 150 Royals games a season for the last 11 years, while also sharing stories and strategies of championship culture with businesses and associations.
Joel Goldberg is in his 11th season as part of the Royals' broadcast team, serving as the host of the "Royals Live" pre-game and postgame shows. Goldberg also provides reports from various locations in the stadium throughout FOX Sports' Kansas City's game coverage. During the offseason, he serves as a hockey play-by-play announcer for the ECHL's Kansas City Mavericks and also as an analyst on UMKC men's basketball television broadcasts.
Goldberg, who was born in Philadelphia before moving to the Chicago area prior to high school, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. His wife, Susan, is a native of Overland Park, Kan. The couple has a son, Mason, and a daughter, Elliana.
