virtualCX | Salary Negotiation for Women: Top 5 Secrets to Inspiring the Best Offer

This is a virtualCX Program that can be accessed remotely from your desk. You will receive the event passcode in your confirmation email when you register.

A woman working a full-time, year-round job earns 80% as much as her male counterpart. That stat is from the US Census Bureau in 2017, not from the 1950s. Research also reveals, more men are promoted than women. We’ve heard the excuses including things like, “Women don’t ask for raises.” Research says otherwise. “The pay differential is only because there are more women in lower paying clerical jobs.” Wrong again.

During this brief on salary, we will cover gender differences in the data and the negotiation. We will discuss how women can negotiate in a way to inspire the best offer and maintain a strong relationship with the other side.

Throughout this program attendees will gain:

  • 5 secrets to inspiring the best offer
  • When to negotiate and when not to
  • 7 elements to consider
  • 13 negotiables beyond salary
  • How to ask for what you want
  • The #1 way to win in negotiations of any kind
Don't think this program will benefit you? Salary negotiation is a great skill for every woman to have! Someone negotiating their first job can absolutely learn from this topic. However, this session is focused on people negotiating throughout their career.

This program is particularly ideal for:
  • Women with at least three years of experience
  • Women aiming for the executive level
  • Anyone who wants to understand the data and practices (perhaps to uncover biases)
