CCKC has enjoyed continued success for 20 years\, offering over 600 cooking classes and more than 200 private interactive culinary experiences and teambuildings each year\, \n\nin addition to a thriving Kitchen Shop featuring Dinners on Demand (chef-prepared frozen dishes). In 2016 Laura licensed a unique kitchen product called the Kitchen Boa which is now for sale in more than 2\,400 retail stores in the U.S. and around the world. \n\n\n\nLaura believes strongly in the magic that happens around the table and in the kitchen\, as well as pursuing social entrepreneurship\, commitment to community and the philosophy that "if you do good\, then you'll do good." She was featured on the cover of a national magazine\, Family Money\, and is a featured speaker on the topics of small business\, social entrepreneurship\, risk\, business and personal mentoring\, career changes and the practice of following your heart when it comes to your career. Laura has published two cookbooks: The Best Recipes of The Culinary Center of Kansas City First Edition (2000) and Second Edition (2013). She is currently living her dream.
