DESCRIPTION:There are many styles of leadership\, each with their own pros and cons. One size or style never fits all. The very best leaders adapt their style to fit each specific person and situation\, no matter what it may be.\n\n\n\nIn this session\, Eric will lead a discussion about various types of leadership styles\, along with how and when to use them. Attendees will leave with a greater understanding of their style\, and ways they can implement other learning styles into their life to increase their effectiveness. \n\n \n\n\nSpeaker Bio:\n\nEric Morgenstern provides persuasive presentation coaching and training\, strategic communications consulting\, and executive counsel to executives and C-level leaders throughout the region. He is a frequent speaker and recognized thought leader who helps leaders CLARIFY their message\, CONNECT with the people who matter most\, and CHANGE attitudes and behaviors. Eric began his career at Brewer Advertising\, the Y&R office in KC. He also served as a national spokesperson for Hallmark Cards. He was President and COO of Boasberg Valentine Radford\, prior to founding Morningstar Communications in 1997. He currently serves on the board of Turn The Page KC\, as well as the advisory board for the KU Journalism School IMC Master's program and the KU J-School Generations. He previously served on the board of the KC Chamber and has led communications for KC Rising. Eric has been recognized locally and nationally with numerous lifetime achievement awards including the PR Professional of the Year and Fellow distinctions from PRSA\, and Entrepreneur of the Year and the Arthur Lowell Lifetime Achievement awards from KC/IABC. Eric received a B.S. degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas. He enjoys spending time with his wife and adult children\, growing flowers and playing bass guitar in a rock-and-roll band.
