This is exactly the audience Executive Coach\, Dawn Zerbs\, was thinking about when creating the course in late 2019. \n\n \n\nThen the world changed\, and Dawn realized the steps are relevant for a broader definition of "roles". The 3-steps for Successful Transitions applies to a new job\, but it also could be a new volunteer role\, joining a non-profit board\, being asked to lead a church committee\, or oh dear being appointed to your homeowner's association. It can also be a new role\, or it can be your commitment to a fresh start to a role you've been in for years.\n\n \n\nThe steps to successful transitions are Learn. Plan. Lead. The words are simple\, but it takes work. The first session will take a deep dive into the LEARN step and we'll work on PLAN and LEAD in session two. Dawn will ask you to come ready to share\, meet others\, and learn from one another. Here's what we'll cover in each workshop:\n\n \n\nSUCCESSFUL TRANSITIONS WORKSHOPS: LEARN. PLAN. LEAD.\n\n \n\nLEARN Workshop | July 15\n\nThere's a lot of work to do before your first day in the role. Learn what Homework and Heartwork needs to happen before jumping into a new role. We'll walk through worksheets and discuss sources and strategies for the Homework. And the Heartwork will include self-assessment and role intention exercises. Then Dawn will guide you through a Listening Tour. This includes a rock band and an iceberg.\n\n \n\nPLAN and LEAD Workshop | July 29\n\nLearn how to use what you learned from the Homework\, Heartwork\, and Listening Tour to build a roadmap for your role. Define your priorities and success measures and then develop a roadmap communication strategy. This workshop is about planning for what's next and leadership tips for staying the course during uncertain times.\n\n\n\nSpeaker Bio\nDawn Zerbs helps leaders make faster progress on their highest priorities.
