Jeff Schmid, has served as president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City since 2023, and is a voting member on the Federal Open Market Committee in 2025. He will provide an economic outlook and share remarks based on his nearly four decades of banking and banking supervision. As the regional headquarters of the nation’s central bank, the Kansas City Fed and its branches in Denver, Oklahoma City and Omaha serve the seven states of the Tenth Federal Reserve District: Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Wyoming, northern New Mexico and western Missouri.
