Useagility, a leading user experience design consultancy, and Clickfarm Interactive, a leading digital consulting and software development firm, have joined forces as part of the innovation arm of First Tek, Inc., a global technology firm headquartered in New Jersey. Together, this dynamic team of UX designers and developers delivers the best in digital strategy and the turn-key development solutions clients need to compete in a world of digital transformation.

As First Tek grows its foothold in the Kansas City area, the firm is seeking an experienced and motivated sales leader to join the team.

The ideal candidate will:
  • Understand that technology investments only live up to their potential when the user experience is well-designed
  • Have a demonstrable track record of sales success with exposure to design, development and delivery of software, web applications, mobile applications and websites
  • Enjoy working with a diverse portfolio of clients across industries in a vibrant, collaborative, and user-centered work environment
  • Be excited about the opportunity to help shape the growth and direction of the digital innovation arm of a global technology company
  • Identify prospects, generate leads, and successfully shepherd business opportunities throughout the consultative sales cycle
  • Collaborate with agency leaders to identify target clients and develop growth strategies
  • Maintain and expand prospect database and manage and track sales pipeline using best-practice sales processes, including providing regular reporting on business development activities and pipeline status
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell development capabilities to existing user experience design contacts and clients and vice versa
  • Work closely with local experts to respond to requests for information/proposal, scope projects, develop pricing, prepare supporting materials, and lead presentations to current and prospective clients
  • Actively participate in the local business and technology communities to develop and deepen relationships and increase brand awareness
  • Contribute to strategic and tactical marketing efforts
  • Evaluate market research and adjust new business strategies to meet changing market and competitive conditions
  • 7 – 10 years of proven success in revenue generation (digital agency and/or custom application development firm preferred)
  • Proven ability to achieve/exceed quarterly and annual revenue objectives consistently
  • A robust set of established business relationships in the local market
  • Excellent business development, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience preparing and delivering polished presentations to senior management clients
  • Desire to work collaboratively and build relationships with all individuals at all levels
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
