Job Duties:

  • Manages a portfolio of National Asset Sustainment projects for the DoD.

  • Negotiates, evaluates, determines and executes department specific projects and program management activities to manage one or more significant, complex program or components.

  • Exercises extensive knowledge of programs and business processes to negotiate and establish achievable cost and schedule parameters for key weapons and/or reimbursable product/service programs and program elements.

  • Leads multiple aspects of financial planning, monitoring, reporting, scheduling, network analysis, and preparation of technical/schedule information required for program/project planning.

  • Integrates customer needs with business competencies to drive growth in both existing and emerging markets. Participates in strategic and market planning with our business development group.  Will visit customers to discuss potential opportunities for business development. 

  • Leads teams and matrix reports to manage day-to-day program requirements.

  • Guides the effective use of program/project resources including personnel, tools, and methods.

  • Ability to travel 20%
     

    You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business related field

  • At least seven (7) or more years of experience in key engineering, manufacturing, and/or program/project management roles, including the application of advanced engineering technologies; program principles related to highly complex technical or program assignments; and/or, complex strategic business processes

  • US citizen in order to obtain and maintain DOE Q clearance

  • Scheduling including resource-loading critical path analysis

  • Expert in Earned Value Management

  • Cost & Financials (ex. RDE, spend, forecast, variance)

  • Risk Management - Identification & Mitigation - Change Mgmt

  • Lead Cross Functional Collaboration, Communicate & Influence

  • Provide guidance & Coaching to peers and team members

  • Ability to be company spokesperson for key programs. 

  • EIPM and IPDS experience.
