I am currently a college professor, teaching ESOL {English for Speakers of Other Languages) at Kansas City Kansas Community College. My first career of over 30 years was in software and data design and development, working for or consulting with companies such as IBM, Cerner and Hallmark cards. I was the first woman computer technician IBM hired in Kansas City in 1976 when IBM embraced the "equal opportunity" movement. I had no idea what I had signed up for! I am a certified project manager and lead the design process for architect teams on multi-million dollar projects. I was a member of CX when I had my own consulting business in the late 80's and early 90's. I actually went through the first CX leadership training when Kay Waldo Barns and Dr Linda Moore lead it! I am looking for opportunities to mentor in the leadership arena - especially in the IT data and software arenas - and make new acquaintances from all interest areas.
