Dr. Cooper is currently employed with T-Mobile Corporation as a Cyber Security Engineer Consultant. She has 20 years of telecommunications and Cyber Security experience. She is also an adjunct professor with Webster University teaching course curriculum under their Cyber Security degree program. As President of Women in Security (WinS) Mentors Inc., organization she promotes mentoring and encourages women and minorities to pursue careers in STEM through workshops and summits.
She has spoken at events and conferences such as the Women in Telecom Conference following the event of the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Centers, speaking lessons learned. She spoke at the International Engineering Consortium conference on the advantages and disadvantages of various types of Wide Area Networks and has been invited to speak and serve as a panelist at numerous security, educational, and technology conferences.
