Tereza Hubkova, MD, ABIHM, ABIM –  For more than a decade, Tereza Hubkova, MD, has been helping patients achieve better health and minimize their need for medications. Board-certified in internal medicine, integrative and holistic medicine, Dr. Hubkova’s breadth of experience allows her to see your health from a variety of angles. With additional training in functional medicine, lifestyle medicine and herbalism, she has many tools in her toolbox, helping her to look for the underlying root cause of disease and help her clients restore and improve their health. She finds a natural approach to health and healing often more rewarding and safer than pharmaceuticals, but uses medications when necessary.

Dr. Hubkova takes time to listen to your story and works like a detective looking for clues and solutions where others have not. She does not provide primary care but rather serves as one member of your multidisciplinary care team, exploring options that may compliment or supplement other care you receive. She works in collaboration with your existing team of providers, not instead of them. Costs for Dr. Hubkova’s services may be reimbursable through your FSA or HSA, but currently she is not accepting insurance. This allows her to spend more time on your case and not be limited by insurance parameters when creating your personalized diagnostic and treatment plan.

Her practice is consultative, providing a unique, personalized perspective on your health. Before relocating to Overland Park in 2019 to lead the Whole Health Institute at AdventHealth South Overland Park, Dr. Hubkova served high-profile clients at the internationally known Canyon Ranch Spa in Lenox, Massachusetts, for ten years. In addition to Dr. Hubkova’s services as a physician, the Whole Health Institute provides integrated care in the form of culinary medicine, naturopathic medicine and other wholehealth clinical services.
