Gender IQ Series: Preparing the Next Generation for Diversity Inclusion & Gender Equity
Join us for part 2 of our Gender IQ Series with a panel discussion about how we prepare the next generation to not be faced with some of the same challenges we are faced with today around gender parity, harassment, diversity (and a true appreciation for it), micro-aggressions, unconscious bias, etc.
Our guests will explore question like: How are the things youth are exposed to today impacting the leaders we will see tomorrow? How have we seen today’s youth rise up against some of these issues and how do we keep the positive momentum going? In what ways can parents, educators, family members, mentors positively influence eliminating the barriers we experience today? And many other important questions…
Panelists include: Cathy Tisdale, CEO of Camp Fire; Joy Wheeler, CEO Girl Scouts; David Byrd, CEO of the YMCA; Candy Brooks Vice President, Whole Child Programs & Operations at The Boys and Girls Clubs of Kansas City.
