Lauren is a seasoned data scientist who has worked with AI algorithms in industry for 15 years. Jennifer is an Innovation Strategist and Strategic Planner who has guided enterprises on how to think long-term and build future-focused capabilities. They are teaming up to help non-technical experts and leaders develop an understanding of this emerging technology so they can invest with confidence and optimism for what’s to come.

Jennifer Garbos is an Innovation Strategist and Strategic Planner with over 20 years of experience creating the future of consumer products, whether they are trucks, teddy bears, or tortillas. Before starting Beacon, she developed strategy plans for Hallmark Cards and Tyson Foods, leading to over $500M in incremental revenue. Inventing is one of her passions and she is a named inventor on over 12 US patents.
Lauren Frazell is the founder of HSD Consulting, where she helps consumer-facing brands, media and civic organizations leverage AI to amplify what they do well. With 15 years of experience leading data science and analytics teams across industries—from Fortune 500 companies to nonprofits—Lauren brings rare depth in both the technical mechanics of algorithms and the business realities of bringing people along. Having built and led capabilities at Hallmark, Kansas City Life Insurance Company, DEG Digital serving over 40 consumer brands and United Way.
