The ABCs of Resilience: An interactive workshop to learn and practice resilience building skills
The last year has brought more unplanned experiences than ever before. Have the demands of responsibility, increased responsiveness, or relational challenges left you feeling weary or worn out?
We live in a stressful world with a lot of stressful things going on. Would you benefit from increased ability to bounce back from the hard things in life?
The word "resilience" comes from the Latin word, "resilio" which means "to bounce back." The greatest way to grow your resilience is to increase your emotional capacity through intentional exercises that build the "relationship center" of the brain. The more emotional capacity (resilience) one has, the more difficulties one can handle before getting overwhelmed and either melt down, shut down, or blow up. The good news is that you are not stuck with the level of emotional capacity you currently have- there are ways to grow it! There is hope!
Join us for this Zoom webinar where Kim Specker, certified ICF Leadership and Life coach will share practical ways and interactive exercises to help you grow your emotional capacity and resilience. You will leave feeling more energized and hopeful.
Join us to...
- Experience first hand the brain's role in resilience and why intentional exercises are required to build emotional capacity.
- Learn how to identify when your relational connectors are off and what to do about it.
- Experience connection with the other participants in real time practicing of the 3 skills that will be shared and leave the session more grounded, hopeful and joy-filled.
